Most of us have changed our business practices over the last several months.  The likelihood of extraordinary liability issues/claims is imminent. 

Our hope is to shed some light as to how you might protect yourself and your business.   Kevin Lang, (Fortson, Bentley and Griffin, P.A.) will discuss the pending ' 
“Georgia COVID-19 Pandemic Business Safety Act” and what protection this bill might offer.  

About our speaker:

Kevin is a Business Attorney whose practice focuses on representing clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, franchising, corporate structures, public-private ventures, commercial leasing and a wide variety of general corporate and business related matters.

Kevin earned his law degree, cum laude, from The University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review and as a member of the Moot Court Team. Prior to law school, Kevin earned his B.B.A., first honor graduate and summa cum laude, in Finance from the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia.

Kevin and his wife, Rebecca, have two children and they are members of Athens First United Methodist Church. Kevin is a member of the Board of Governors of Athens Country Club and a member of the Athens Rotary Club.  Kevin served on the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia, Inc. from 2006 – 2015 and served as Chairman of the Board in 2011.  He also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Georgia Alumni Association from 2006 – 2015.
