The annual Blueberry Festival in the west-side neighborhood raises money for a community project that's planted 135 blueberry bushes over the last three years. All events are open and FREE to the public. 9:30 a.m. - BikeAthens Blueberry Rally (for kids 12 and under) 11 a.m. - Blueberry Cook-off competition 1-3 p.m. - Garden Tours 5:30 p.m. - The Blueberry Jam concert, featuring: --Overnight Angels --Bart & Lisa King --Lydian Brambila --Vassar Blondes --Athens Mountain Singers --Knowa Johnson & The Aquatic Soul Collective Plus, food trucks, door prizes and a silent auction.
