Ride So Far

Sweet Olive Farm Animal Rescue (SOFAR) is holding a family-friendly bicycle ride called Ride SOFAR on Saturday November, 18 to help support the farm, with hats, food, and drinks for the whole family. Founded in 2010, SOFAR is an animal sanctuary that promotes and supports social responsibility of the treatment of animals and education about animal care. To participate in Ride SOFAR to help support the farm and their work, persons over 15 can register themselves as “Pigs” and their accompanying children as “Piglets” with Bike Reg. Pig registrations are $35 and include food from Maepole, a drink, and a hat. Piglets eat and ride for free if they don’t choose to get a hat. Piglet registrations including a hat are $15 and both options include food and a drink. The course is a 10-mile turn around stretch. There is also a Llama course at 25 km and a Donkey course at 50 km. Llama and Donkey registrations are $65 and also include a hat, food, and a drink. This is an early-bird special so sign up now! Prices will increase after midnight on November 11 where Llamas and Donkeys will go up by $10 and Pigs and Piglets (with hats) will go up by $5.
