Event Description:
The key to Athens' economic vitality is a strong public education system.  We celebrate the efforts of CCSD in the work they have done and are proud to be partners in more effectively bringing the business and education communities together.   
 
Join us on October 15th as we re-establish the Seeing is Believing Bus Tour!
During this adventure, you will have a chance to get to see some extraordinary programs, learn about innovative initiatives and talk to key decision makers.   
Location:
7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.: Arrive at Board of Education (595 Prince Avenue) for check-in and breakfast
8:15 a.m.  - Welcome
8:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.  - Buses to Clarke Central High School
8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. - Discussion about key initiatives within CCSD
9:45 a.m. - Break attendee group into four groups with buses going to:
    Clarke Middle School
    Hilsman Middle School
    Barnett Shoals Elementary School
    JJ Harris Elementary School 
11:15 a.m. -  Buses to Athens Community Career Academy
11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. - Tour with Speakers & Lunch (prepared by students in the Culinary Arts Program at ACCA) 
12:45 p.m. - Return to Board of Education
