Women Who Work will host life coach Hope Cook, who will speak to us about reaching your WIGs: Wildly Improbably Goals! We are thrilled to hold this event on International Women's Day. Part of the International Women's Day mission is to forge inclusive work cultures where women's careers thrive and their achievements are celebrated!
Hope Cook is a life coach whose journey began with 20 years as a Physician Assistant punctuated by periodic episodes of burnout, which led to years of seeking. The seeking took the form of therapy, silent retreats, yoga teacher certification, writing articles and blog posts, and devouring over 500 self-help books. Hope also started her own podcast to help women who felt similarly lost and stuck. Her path to healing opened her eyes to the world of life coaching, which she describes as a game-changer for career women who were once fulfilled by their jobs but now feel stuck and trapped.
