What You’ll Do:
- Promote and sell Athens as a destination for conventions and meetings(SMERF Market) with a focus on attracting overnight visitors.
- Build relationships with event planners, local businesses, hotels, and key decision-makers to secure bookings.
- Develop customized itineraries, packages, and experiences to make Athens a top choice for events.
- Organize site visits and familiarization tours to showcase Athens to potential clients.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that highlight Athens’ culture and entertainment scene.
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in sales, event planning, hospitality, or tourism preferred.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Passion for Athens and enthusiasm for sharing its unique offerings with visitors.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of clients and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
