ATHENS, GA – December 18, 2025 – Athens On Ice officially returned to Athens earlier this month, bringing an expanded lineup of festive experiences that make it easier than ever to check off those must-do holiday traditions. As the region’s only ice-skating rink, Athens On Ice continues to be a signature seasonal attraction, inviting the community to glide into the holidays surrounded by twinkling lights, seasonal treats, and themed skating nights designed to create lasting memories for families and friends.
- Throughout December, guests can enjoy Tinsel Trail, presented by Women in Construction and The Classic Center Cultural Foundation, where decorated trees sponsored by local businesses and organizations create a festive walkway from Downtown Athens to Athens On Ice.
- For the first time, Toddler Skate is available on select days for children five years old and younger, offering a fun and safe introduction to skating for the youngest guests.
- Additional enhancements include festive lighting throughout the Pavilion.
- Guests can also enjoy grilled concessions, a s’mores and hot chocolate station, and additional offerings on Fridays after 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays, provided by Levy Restaurants. Dates and times for grilled stations are subject to change.
Athens On Ice stands as a cornerstone of the holiday season, offering a dynamic winter experience for guests of all ages. Join the celebration on the ice this season. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit ClassicCenter.com.
