ATHENS, Ga – The Classic Center Cultural Foundation is excited to announce the recipients of the 2024 community grants! Join them in congratulating the following organizations for their outstanding commitment to supporting the arts and advancing workforce development throughout the local community;
Love.Craft Athens’,
Nuçi’s Space,
and the Georgia Children’s Chorus.
Each year, The Classic Center Cultural Foundation awards up to $5,000 in grants to support performing arts, visual arts, and workforce development initiatives aligning with the hospitality industry in Athens-Clarke County. The Classic Center Cultural Foundation grant funding required a completed application including a proposal of the project, event, or performance the company/organization was looking to achieve. Organizations were given a timeline of one calendar year to complete the project.
“The Cultural Foundation's mission is to offer resources to the local community that foster diverse performing arts, visual arts, and workforce development initiatives,” stated Stephanie VanDyck, Director of The Classic Center Cultural Foundation. “Our community is home to numerous outstanding organizations dedicated to investing in the arts and hospitality. I am thankful that we can support some of these wonderful opportunities that empower future generations of leaders, performers, and artists, offering them the resources for success.”
