Live at Athens-Clarke County Library — Aquatic Soul Band

ATHENS, Ga. — Enjoy a free concert at Athens-Clarke County Library featuring Aquatic Soul Band on Sunday, June 11, at 3:00 pm.

 

The Aquatic Soul Band is a band founded by Knowa Johnson, an event and mu-sic producer, and co-founder of the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement. The band started its journey in 2019 and has quickly become a popular name in the Athens music scene. The Aquatic Soul Collective specializes in playing soul mu-sic, Motown, R&B, and blues.

 

The band has hit several stages, performing tributes to legendary artists like Isaac Hayes, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, and many more. The band’s passion for music and keen sense of rhythm make each per-formance an exhilarating experience.
