Jason (Gabe) Gabriel, M.A.

NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor

In person and virtual Counseling

I obtained my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University with a specialization in addictions. I am a member of American Counseling Association. I am certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and my counseling services include pre-marital and enrichment counseling. I am an ordained minister of pastoral counseling and a certified temperament therapist.

In addition to my education and training, my personal life and experience has enabled me to help others discover God’s healing from inner pain, hurts, wounds and trauma. I can help you find your true identity in Christ and the steps to freedom found only in Him. My counseling experience includes those from all walks of life, denominations, and faith.

My interests include many outdoor activities. My favorite pastimes are camping with my family, hunting and shooting with my sons and spending time with my wife Tonie.

I look forward to working with you!

Krysten Schmidt, MA

NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor

Virtual Counseling

I am committed to providing counsel that is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. My desire as a counselor is to walk with my clients, and help them better understand their story in the light of God’s redemptive story. We all encounter wounds, hardships, and scars in life, that often leave us feeling hurt and alone. I long for all people to receive God’s comfort and grow in confidence of His love, presence, and care for them. I have personally experienced the transforming power of God’s love in my own life, and I know He can do the same for you!

Krysten has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary, and is a NCCA licensed pastoral counselor. I am a Clinical Member of the National Christian Counseling Association and a Certified Temperament Therapist. I have been married for over 15 years, and my husband and I are raising 3 wonderful children together – two by birth and one through adoption. I enjoy kayaking and hiking as well as spending time with my family.

“He who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:4

Ashley Lawson

NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor

(Virtual Counseling)

In life we face trials of many kinds (James 1) and my desire as a Christian Counselor is to come alongside those who are broken and hurting and point them to the Gospel. For God promises to give us everything we need for life and godliness during the many trials we face through the knowledge of him (1 Peter 1:3) and promises to restore our health and heal our wounds. (Jeremiah 30:17). I am humbled that God has called me to serve his body through the ministry of counseling and desire above all else to glorify and make much of Him.

I have always had a passion to help those in need and pursued that passion professionally by receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology. I have a background in Non-Profit, directing a Child Hunger/Nutrition Program for ten years and a Housing Program for two years. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling and I am a Clinical Member of the National Christian Counseling Association. Additionally, I am a certified Temperament Therapist.

My husband and I are active partners in a local body, leading a Missional Community, as well as serving in other various capacities. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
