Opening of Applications for LEAD Athens Program 2025-2026

The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that applications for the 2025-2026 LEAD Athens program are now open! LEAD Athens is designed to develop effective leaders committed to building a vibrant community by providing a personal and professional development opportunity for local leaders.

This intense, year-long program covers a wide range of topics including economic development, local industry, health care, government, secondary and higher education, the arts, and more. Participants will engage in monthly sessions and community leadership activities, gaining insights into current issues and future challenges, all while enjoying a well-rounded and fun LEAD Athens experience.

Important Application Dates:

• Deadline for Submission: Monday, April 14, 2025 - 5:00pm EST
  • Submit application electronically; Letter of recommendation via email.
• Program Acceptance Communication Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2025
• Program Commitment & Tuition Deadline: Thursday, May 30, 2025
  • Selected participants may discuss a tuition payment plan by emailing david.bradley@athensga.com.
